Ceader Forest : Gilgamesh

I can't say that I understood this chapter very well... actually I only understood the beggining and the end... This story is mucha harder to interpret then Ishmael.. Well, basically the people who wrote this were the sumarians. They believed that there was a god for basically everything. Also, they had a lot of faith in good and bad and how good conquering became a habit. For example, when they are fighting Huwawa in Ceader Forest and how they triumph in the task of killing it.
I think its interesting how Gilgamesh has a little of both. He's feared by the people therefore he can do what he pleases; but also seen as the hero, the king who protects his people...
